• Ensuring the accuracy and completeness of the bookkeeping
• Assessing all business transactions for correct handling for tax and accounting purposes
• Responsibility for compliance with all legal and tax deadlines for reporting to authorities and communication with the relevant bodies
• Independent preparation of monthly financial statements
• Independent preparation of the annual financial statements and preparation of the tax assessment with the tax consultant
• Preparation and support of the annual auditor audits
• Supervision of regular audits by the tax office, German pension insurance or other relevant bodies
• Improving internal company processes, including with the operational areas, to ensure correct financial valuation
• Handling all of the company's payment processes

What you should bring

• Completed commercial training with further training as an accountant (m/f/d) or comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in the field of financial accounting or balance sheet accounting desirable
• Sound knowledge of HGB and tax law
• Very good MS Office skills, especially Excel and experience with Datev are desirable
• Analytical way of thinking, high affinity for numbers and a precise way of working
