What awaits you

  • You will analyze the processes at our logistics locations, identify potential for improvement and translate findings into concrete, implementable measures.
  • You initiate and take responsibility for logistics improvement projects - often with a strong focus on technology
  • You consciously familiarize yourself with new topics and turn ideas into real use cases: from pilots with a start-up to rolled-out standard processes.
  • You build the bridge between logistics, technology and our partners: start-ups, established robot manufacturers and technology providers.
  • You advise our logistics locations and customers on lean logistics, operational excellence and innovative automation solutions - and bring in new ideas in the process.
  • You define, track and report relevant key figures that can be used for real control - not just "colorful dashboards".
  • You report directly to the management and thus shape both day-to-day operations and the strategic development of our logistics and innovation projects.

What you should bring

  • Degree in business administration or industrial engineering with a focus on logistics or a comparable qualification
  • Several years of experience in the analysis and optimization of logistics processes as well as in project and change management
  • Experience with Lean/OpEx methods; an additional qualification in the field of process optimization, e.g. Lean or Six Sigma, is a plus
  • Motivation to familiarize yourself with new technologies and make them work in real logistics environments
  • Entrepreneurial, results-oriented personality with strong implementation skills - you want to see the impact of your work on the ground
  • Strong communicator, clear in your approach and appreciative in your dealings - from the store floor to management
  • Willingness to be an active part of the change process and to win people over to new approaches
